one of the hospital's nurses got married, a christian wedding to compare the upcoming hindu marriages to. so here we go, from the white sari to the sparkly confetti i held in my mehindi-covered hand until they walked back down the aisle, from the blinding photo light that made many of my pictures a hundred times better to the way a room changes when the music switches from indian top-40 to traditional Gharwali music (that's the regional stuff that means a different kind of dancing), here's the massive all-out indian wedding in pictures.

here comes the bride

I was going to say, That looks like such a blast except the groom has the straightest face ever - then I realized you can kind of tell he's smiling actually. I like the one with your hand.
