i feel like i finally found a place in khandi khal, and in the villages we visited. these are some of the ladies from Gaunkit, our 'model village' that runs all of our programs.
my 21st birthday on september 12 was lovely. my host parents threw me a little party with friends and two chocolate cakes complete with my name written in frosting on top.
the cake i made somehow sunk in the middle. it was supposed to be a flower to cover it up.
